Angies Digital Designs Ch #30 Anythimg Goes / Op twist Easter

Hi Guys,

How are we all? I Hope all is well with you all. I have been keeping busy looking after my gorgeous bichon frise dog Skye is just over a year old and oh my god feels like a 10 year old at times lol. Well Angie's designs are lovely as ever but this wee character has stolen my heart and I think she could be adapted for anything you need a card for. As the theme is always an anything goes when there is the op twist added I try to achieve that for the design team. I have coloured Angie's 'Petticoat Bear' with colours that we associate with Spring and although not a full on easter card I have made this as a general easter thinking of someone. There is always someone who could be doing with a little card popping through their door to let them know that you are thinking of them and I think Easter time can be a time for remembering loved ones if we aren't celebrating with our families. Recently I have  made some cards as I knew friends were having some difficult times and when they got their cards they all said not knowing each other 'Thank you that made me smile' my goal was achieved.

Outlawz Challenge Monday Greetings Spring is in the Air Challenge

Hi Guys,

Easter what its been not long since Christmas mind you easter things were coming into the shops  just after Christmas. How do you all celebrate Easter, now hubby and I have a touring caravan we try to get away for Easter as we dont do the religious thing but we know plenty of people do and my mother in law is one for sending easter cards and normally we dont bother but I have a few made that I am determined that I am going to be sending this year. The images for this months challenge is from 'My Besties' and the image is called 'Spring is in the Air' and I just adore this image and it was so much fun to colour and I tried to go with colours that is normally associated with this time of year and I love how everyone gets a spring in their step when we start to see a change in the weather but todauy its like we have taken a step back into winter hopefully its going to change soon. welle enough of my rambling here is my challenge card hope you like it.

Outlawz Challenge Festive Fridays AG Challenge

Hi Guys,

How are you all today? I'm feeling a little better after speaking to my Gp who clarified an issue I had from my last hospital visit. This year I feel like my crafting has turned a big corner and writing these blogs proves that too as I was too scared for a long time to attempt to blog. Just like I was scared to try going for Design Team positions thinking that I wasn't good enough but then chatting with a friend last year I decided that I was going to try applying and I got accepted for this challenge which I absolutely love being a part of. This months sponsor is Bugaboo Stamps and the image I have chosen is 'Floral Frame' which I just adored on first glance and pretty much didnt look at the other choices until today lol. I also used my distress oxides and then coloured the flowers using my promarkers and then using some glitter glue to jazz it up a bit but I loved the finished result and something else im really loving just now is pink and grey papers or card and im not normally a pink girl. Anyways hope you like the card as much as I do.

Outlawz Freebie Progressive Challenge 1st April

Hi Guys,

Back so soon yes sorry my next few posts will be close together as its the beginning of the month and have had to wait for images to come through. When I got this image I was so excited as there was so many things I could do with this image but I thought yes I can have a play with my mixed things so tried some new techniques that I have seen getting done on Hochanda. I also played with my inks, texture paste and crackle past the only thing I struggled with was what sentiment to put on it. I chose to go with a goth punk like girl and for the card to be for a teenager. I hope you like this card as much as I have done.

Incy Wincy 1st April Animals Challenge

Hi Guys,

Sorry not been about much lately having some issues but decided to get back on track with my DT challenge and blog posts to take mind off things. The image for this challenge has been supplied by Dr Digi and its the White Rabbit and when I seen this image I knew there was only one way that I could with it and yes you guessed it Alice in Wonderland came straight to mind. I had great fun making this card and it was fun to make and it is suitable for any occasion.
