Terrific Tuesday

Hi Guys,

Hope you are all well on this lovely tuesday, its sunny here in Scotland and the sky seems bright which is a nice change from the dark cold winter nights which I love but I like to see Spring come when the sky gets lighter. To keep myself busy I have joined some challenge groups to do inbetween my design team work and as I have said previously I am loving mixed media and one of the challenges I entered the theme was 'Atc -Letter H', which at first I panicked and thought I cant do this but once I learned what an ATC was and what I needed to do I was happy. I was assigned a partner Angela Bishop who was relatively new to this challenge too so we chatted and decided we were going to swap some extras eg. papers and ribbons. My husband for a while has been asking me to make him some bookmarks for his books so I made one (still to get pic) and started on the others but as I was creating them I decided I was going to make one for the swap so I decorated the front and all im going to say is I love heat embossing with clear powders its my new fav to do lol and I left the back just inked with my distress oxides for my partner to put on what she liked. So here is the the things I have mentioned above and hope you like them.

February Birthday's

Hi Guys,

Here is pictures of two cards I made for Birthday's funnily enough within days of each other and they both know each other. Lily is an adorable little girl and she makes her own videos which are hilarious and she has all the sass but she is still a little girl who loves her unicorns and I enjoyed making this card for her and the next card is for a friend who I've known for over 20 years now and I know she will be a friend for life and she is my Dolly.

Shout out to Artisan Designs and Pete Simpson

Hi Guys,

Well a friend of mines recently started out his ow business called Artisan Designs and his flower stamps and sentiments are absolutely gorgeous and I am happy to own four of his first range and hoping to buy the remaining four shortly. Pete has been there for me along with others but he has been there for me into my journey of mixed media guiding me and Im getting there. I believe he has had some negative feedback since branching out on his own which I think is disgusting and they have to be jealous but why be jealous we are all crafters we should all be able to learn from one another and help one another there is enough room for us crafters at all different levels so before he had his first show on TV last week I decided to make a card for him and here it is :

which he loved so I'm over the moon with that and as you all know I am in a card swap group and the challenge for this month was the card was to be with the theme 'Wings' and it could be done anyway you think so here is what I have done excuse all the pictures but I had so much fun making this card. I heat embossed and got messy playing with my inks and other things so I hope you like this card:

Outlawz Festive Friday 22/02

Hi Guys,

Well I have had great fun making this card and yes its from the We Are 3 - Garden Roses set again and I absolutely love this set and as you can see from this card its different to my last Festive Friday make with the same set and I had a friend who kept her birthday secret and I only seen it on FB and it was the day before her birthday and I knew she loved purple so the day of her birthday I had made this card for her and my hubby posted it for me that night. She loved it said that even her 16 year old son went wow mum wow who made that for you but do you know what shes a special lady so deserved this card. I hope you like it as much as we have loved it.

It's all about the Tags

Hello Followers.

Its that time of the week again. Yes Friday is here so can only mean one thing it's the start of the Weekend woohoo and a week before pay day and boy has February went in quickly. Well at the Incy Wincy Designs team challenge the theme was called for the boys. I went for this image from Mari K Creations called just me and my dog. This tag I have made for my hubby and I'm going to give it to him later for something. I enjoyed making this tag as it was different from making cards and it spices things up a bit when we are challenged to do something different. More Cards and Stuff

Afternoon,

I've been busy this afternoon updating my pictures so there is going to be a few posts this afternoon so I apologise in advance. Well as you all know I have taken the step into trying out mixed media and I love love love it. My first picture is from my Card Swap Challenge groups first challenge of the year and we were set the challenge to create an ATC hand and at first I was really really out of my comfort zone but once I knew what an ATC was that was me I was away and the person who received my hand was thrilled with it which made me feel great and here it is for you all to see:

My next picture was a challenge from the Junk Journals and mindful mixed media challenge which the theme was 'New Beginnings' and you were to interpret what it meant to you. Well when you see my entry if you know me really well you will know why I have went the way I have and without depressing you all, all I will say is meeting my husband was my new beginning and here it is :

My Next card is for my best friend who is my sis grandsons birthday card and like most other wee boys he likes all the superhero cartoons and things but I thought I would do something different and I made him a monster card and here it is

My Next card is for my fil who I refer to him as my pops whose birthday is on Valentine's Day which is a shame because its hard to get out somewhere for a meal who isn't doing a Valentine's menu which I can sympathise with having my birthday in december and all you get is Christmas menus so I decided to avoid the Valentine's colour and again do something different for him and here is what I came up with

Incy Wincy Designs - 4thFeb Challenge Make it Girly

Afternoon ladies,

Well i'm back with another dt card for the Incy Wincy Design Team which I'm loving being a member of and some good challenges coming up so I hope that you will stay with me to see what I bring to them. Well when I seen this challenge was to make it girly panic set in as I'm anything but girly but not a tom boy either but for some reason I seem to make girly cards quite well. I had the dilemma of picking a digi stamp to use as had a few so ended up choosing Charlie Swing from Little Blue Button and I chose pink as the main colour and im really pleased with how it turned out so why not come and join us at https://incywincydesigns.blogspot.com/ and why not join in the theme of Girly and let us see what you come up with .

Angie's Digital Design Chall #28- Anything goes op twist love

Good morning guys,

Im so excited to share this design team card with you all. As soon as I seen this image I knew the way I wanted to take this card and I had a fab time making it and I thought it was perfect for Valentine's day and with his Pizza in his hand it had to be the Love banner then typed sentiment ' A pizza of my heart' get it lol get it.
